This company’s 80-GHz radar sensors (photo) are temperature-decoupled from the process, meaning that they are optimized for the extreme process temperatures that occur in liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied propane gas (LPG) applications, and easily withstand temperatures as low as –196°C. Ice does not form on the housing, nor is there any condensation on the antenna system.
